Corp. Est. Season 2 – Episode 3

I start every Aus winter with a re-newed excitement for what stories we will create in the next 4 or so months. Partially why I enjoy capturing those moments on film. And once again it has left me with a full tank of cherished memories and lessons alike.
Sunny Steele has been a big part of my winter once again and I’d like to commend him on maintaining his attitude of ‘nothing but love’ for snowboarding while a world of political turmoil exploded around him. If a kid has any dream of representing their country, in an Olympic arena, the expectations put on them is treacherous to say the least. For Sunny to manage those expectations and still rock up day to day with a fun first attitude is remarkable. On ya mate. Also big thanks to his family for their support.

The other big mention is obviously my little bro Jesse Kennedy. This year I saw him switch off to a lot of that ‘pressure’ and just enjoy each day as it came. Like throwing cameras to each other mid 360 or trying to hi five upside down during an underflip. Maybe it’s something to do with being his big bro and therefore wanting to watch and help him achieve. Maybe it’s because we’ve spent soo much time together that we know how much has gone into making those little moments what they are. Whatever it is, riding around with my bro is still to this day one of the most fulfilling things I have done.

A big thank you to Billy Hayman, Mark Land, Troy Sturrock and Angus Waddington for also being a part of such a good season again. It wouldn’t be quite the same without you all there.

Special guest appearances: Josh Agnew (paying Matty out), Matty Cox (being Matty Cox) and Alex Chen for possibly the best stack of the winter (especially because you’re fine).
